February 22nd Letter from the Farm
Since you last heard from us, the farm has quieted down a bit. We had a blast at our Winter Fun Day on the farm, and got to hang out with Oscar the draft horse! What a treat that was! We have been focused on nurturing our baby seedlings and even began seeding our spring crops! We have already sown our March crops that will live in the high tunnels, but now it is time to seed for the crops that will be living outside! Our last frost has historically been in the second week of April, so we are planning to have crops in the ground mid-April! Which means we have to start seeding for those now! We have broccoli, cauliflower, kale, tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, fennel, basil, celery and so much more being seeded in the next few weeks!
